On Monday, November 18, the weather in Ukraine will surprise with warm temperatures and mostly dry conditions. However, short-term rains with sleet are expected in some regions. This is reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological center.
In most of the territory of Ukraine, the weather will be cloudy with clearing. No precipitation is forecast at night, but during the day in the western and northern regions and in the Crimea, light rains are possible, sometimes with sleet. The wind is mainly southwest, from 7 to 12 m/s, in the western regions gusts up to 15-20 m/s are possible.
Air temperature
- At night : In most of the territory of Ukraine, moderate temperatures are expected from -2° in the Chernivtsi and Cherkasy regions to +3° in the rest of the territory.
- During the day : The air temperature will range from +9° in the North and in the Center to +11...+13° in the South and in the Crimea. In the Carpathians, the temperature will drop to -1...-6° at night, and around 0° during the day.
Forecast for Kyiv and the region
Cloudy weather with clearings is expected in the capital and Kyiv region. No precipitation at night, but a little rain is possible in some places during the day. Air temperature:
- At night : from 0 to +2°.
- During the day : +6...+8° of heat. The wind is south-west, speed 7-12 m/s.
Peculiarities of the weather in the regions
- Western and northern regions : short-term rains with sleet, wind gusts up to 20 m/s.
- Carpathians : no precipitation at night, wet snow is possible during the day.
- South and Crimea : relatively warm weather, up to +13° during the day.
Due to possible strong gusts of wind in the west, it is recommended to be careful on the street and avoid parking cars under trees. Residents of regions with precipitation should prepare for a possible worsening of road conditions.
Despite the cool nights, daytime temperatures will remain comfortable, allowing you to enjoy the last warm days before the arrival of real winter.
