The World Bank forecast: the increase in Ukraine's GDP in 2024 will be 3.2%

Despite positive changes in the economy, production in Ukraine remains 30% lower than before the invasion of the Russian Federation in 2023, keeping up with the trend of GDP growth. The World Bank predicts that Ukraine's gross domestic product will increase by 3.2% in 2024, and by 6.5% in 2025, according to their press release.

Looking ahead to the results of 2023, the World Bank estimates Ukraine's GDP growth at the level of 4.8%, but indicates that production remained significantly lower than the level before the invasion of the Russian Federation. In contrast, the economic forecast for 2024 supports the hope of further improvement in growth, assuming a 3.2% increase in GDP. However, the expected increase in 2025 is even an impressive 6.5%.

The World Bank also notes that the global economy is expected to grow by 2.4% in 2024 and 2.7% in 2025, the slowest rate in 30 years at the start of this decade.
