There was a big scandal in Kyiv, related to the suspicion of the second prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office of inciting a bribe in the amount of 170,000 dollars. According to our information, the prosecutor is suspected of trying to receive a bribe for closing the criminal case regarding the illegal alienation of property.
According to the investigation, the suspect encouraged the businessman to give a bribe to the prosecutor in the case of illegal alienation of property by officials in favor of a private company.
According to the developed algorithm, the prosecutor in the proceedings had to provide a forensic report on the absence of material damages, after which the criminal proceedings had to be closed and, as a result, the seizure of property with a ban on construction was canceled.
As of today, the specified prosecutor has been notified of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 15 (Attempt to commit a crime), Part 3 of Art. 369 (Offer, promise or provision of unlawful benefit to an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing , the SAP concluded.
