The family of the chairman of the Mlyniv settlement council Dmitry Levitsky has purchased property for UAH 5.8 million over the last few years. However, the official income of the family does not allow to explain such enrichment that the basis for trial.
Among the acquisitions that aroused the interest of law enforcement officers is the following:
- A house in Rivne area of 230 m² with a land plot of 0.0831 ha, worth 4.2 million UAH;
- Sylvan Mirage Cruise 8524 LZ 2010 boat, estimated at almost UAH 1 million;
- Land in the village of Moshkiv with an area of 0.25 ha;
- Specialized truck (food tank) KMZK G6-OTA-3.9 2013.
Levitsky's lifestyle monitoring began after the transmission of possible corruption violations by the police department of Rivne region. Police suggest that the property could have been purchased due to the appropriation of budgetary funds or abuse of office.
The National Anti -Corruption Agency (NAPC) has analyzed in detail the official income of Levitsky and his family. The analysis showed that even if the whole salary was saved, they could not afford such purchases.
On February 5, 2025, the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) filed a claim to the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court, which requires:
- Recognize Levitsky's assets unjustified;
- Confiscate property in favor of the state through the mechanism of civil confiscation.
At the moment, the court seized the house, boat, car and land to the final decision in the case. If the court confirms the fact of illegal enrichment, the property issued on the relatives of Levitsky will be confiscated.
This case can be another precedent in the fight against corruption at the local government level and a signal for officials who abuse officials.
