In the Rivne region, border guards discovered two residents of Zaporizhzhia who had illegally entered the border zone and found themselves in a difficult situation. After the men got lost in a swampy area, they independently turned to the contact center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for help. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Border units responded promptly to the call. The violators were found exhausted, wet, and disoriented. They were immediately provided with medical assistance.
As law enforcement officers found out, the men did not have any permits to stay in the border zone. They also could not explain the purpose of their stay in the restricted zone.
A case has been opened against them for violating border legislation. The information has been passed on to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
