Privatbank suspends payments

PrivatBank reported temporary suspension of payments through the Privat24 platform for individuals on the night of January 26, 2025. This is due to the planned regulatory work that the bank will perform to ensure the stable operation of its services.

According to the official statement, the technical work will start at midnight (00:00) and will last until 5am. During this period, all customer payments through Privat24 will not be available.

PrivatBank explains that such work is necessary for the smooth functioning of a digital bank and the safety of operations. The Bank deliberately conducts these updates at night, when customer activity is the lowest to minimize inconvenience.

What to do to customers?
The Bank advises those who plan to make payments, take care of it in advance - before the start of the technical work or after their completion.

Such technical breaks are a common practice for banking institutions around the world. They guarantee that customers receive quality and safe service.
