Putin announced the "end" of the war against Ukraine, but on his own terms

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared his desire to end the war against Ukraine, but only on Russia's terms. Putin expressed this during a meeting with wounded Russian soldiers, stressing that the main problem is not Ukraine, but those who "are trying to destroy Russia with the hands of Ukraine."

"Those who only yesterday said that it was necessary to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, are now already looking for statements on how to end the conflict as soon as possible. And we also want to end the conflict, and as soon as possible, only on our terms," Putin said.
