As a result of a missile strike by the Russian occupiers, which took place in Kharkiv on the evening of January 10, a hotel complex where more than 30 civilians were staying was damaged.
Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv OVA, reported that several cars also caught fire as a result of the attack. "As of now, we know about 11 victims, of which 4 are men aged 31 to 38, 7 are women aged 23 to 71. Nine victims were taken to medical institutions. Currently, one of the victims - a 35-year-old man - is in a serious condition, 8 patients are in medium and light condition, 2 were treated on the spot," he emphasized.
The victims receive all the necessary help and are under medical supervision. A sinkhole with a depth of at least three meters was formed near the hotel, and a fire broke out at the bottom of the sinkhole due to the high-voltage lines that pass here. Rescuers worked to extinguish the fire. The facade of the building, balconies, canopies, windows, window sills were completely destroyed by the blast wave.
According to preliminary data, the Russian Federation used two S-300 missiles, firing from the territory of the Belgorod region. This was announced by Oleksandr Filchakov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Currently, emergency services continue to work at the site of the enemy strike, information is being updated.
