Ramina Eshakzai conducted an investigation into the escape of blogger Voloshyn

Ukrainian blogger and journalist Ramina Eshakzai conducted an investigation into the escape of scandalous blogger Oleksandr Voloshyn from Ukraine in July this year. According to her, Voloshyn planned his departure in advance, violating the country's legislation.

Ramina published details of the investigation on her YouTube channel , where she collected evidence that Voloshyn illegally crossed the border during the war, using the "Shlyah" , which allows drivers of international transport to cross the border. Voloshyn left the country on July 31, 2024, posing as a minibus driver.

Details of Voloshin's escape

According to the journalist, Voloshyn started preparing for the escape several months before:

  • On April 3, 2024, he stopped declaring his income.
  • At the beginning of June, he took the first car abroad, and returned to Ukraine himself.
  • On July 2, he sold his apartment.
  • On July 31, he left under the guise of a minibus driver, and on August 1, his mother took out the second car.

Ramina also noted that Voloshyn sold off his real estate in Ukraine and stopped declaring income in order to hide his financial traces.

Plans of Voloshin and Manipulation

Eshakzai drew attention to the interview with Voloshyn, which she conducted in May. Even then, he hinted at his plans to go abroad, although at the time he claimed that he was doing it to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine . However, the journalist is convinced that this was only a cover for his escape.

"He left with the help of corruption, did not pay taxes, did not fully declare his income. Went abroad through an incomprehensible company. A very well-planned escape plan," said Ramina.
