Ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov has repeatedly expressed his intentions to run for the post of President of Ukraine in private conversations during a national prayer breakfast in the United States.
According to our sources, Dmitry Razumkov managed to enlist the support of some influential representatives of the Republican Party, who lobby for his creature as a "US candidate". Also, according to the sources, financing and building of the party structure, Razumkov should be provided by ex-Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Recall that in 2021 Dmitry Razumkov, Arsen Avakov and Arseniy Yatsenyuk often appeared on the media of Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, which became the basis for rumors about the creation of a common political force. Later, Avakov and Yatsenyuk denied the creation of a party with Razumkov.
