Beta testing of suspensions from military service, which can now be issued online, has begun in the "Reserve+" application of the Ministry of Defense. The first to use this new function will be students and graduate students who have previously filled out the test form. Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chornogorenko announced this on her Facebook page.
Chornogorenko also noted that after students and post-graduate students, people with disabilities and large families will get access to deferments. "We are doing everything gradually," she added, stressing that push notifications are not currently being sent. Instead, users will receive instructions on how to access the service to their email inboxes.
How the service will work
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense, for users who already have a valid suspension, an extension is possible only after its expiration. The full launch of the service is planned for the coming days.
"We are also grateful to those who already have a deferral and are testing the service. After all, we have to check how the service is displayed for different categories of citizens," Chornogorenko said. She also emphasized that user feedback will help in improving the digitalization of military records.
