Russian drones killed three people in Odesa, damaged houses

Today, September 27, the Russian occupation army carried out a large-scale drone attack on the Odesa region, which led to tragic consequences. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that three people died as a result of the terrorist attack, including two women born in 1934 and 1955 and a 73-year-old man. Another 11 people were injured, including a child.

Attack on Ishmael

Early in the morning, Russian drones attacked the southern regions of the region, in particular the city of Izmail. According to Kiper, the air defense forces operated in conditions of prolonged and intense combat. Despite the efforts, drones have hit the residential sector, damaging private and apartment buildings, farm buildings and cars. As a result of the attack, several fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. Law enforcement officers are currently documenting the consequences of the terrorist act.

"People are provided with all the necessary assistance," assured the head of Odesa OVA.

General situation

The attacks on Odesa are not the only blows that Ukraine has suffered in recent days. On September 26, Russian troops launched missile and drone strikes in a number of regions. In particular, in Ivano-Frankivsk, a critical infrastructure object was damaged, which led to the blackout of a part of the city. A 62-year-old woman died in the Odesa region due to a rocket attack. In Mykolaiv Oblast, shelling damaged an energy infrastructure facility, and in Zaporizhzhia airstrikes injured eight people, including a child. Shelling was also recorded in Kyiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast.
