Russian troops are preparing a large-scale offensive on the village of Borova in the Kharkiv region

The Russian military has increased its forces and is preparing an offensive in the direction of the village of Borova in the Kharkiv region.

This was announced by the DeepState project on Tuesday, June 18. The Russian army concentrated a strike group of 10,000 personnel and 450 units of military equipment, of which 200 are artillery systems, in the section from Raigorodka to Novovodyan, approximately 20 km from the village of Borova.

"The goal is obvious - an attempt to repeat last year's attack on Borova," the message reads.

According to analysts, the defense line in this direction is held by the 3rd separate assault brigade (OShBr), but the forces remain inadequate: the enemy is outnumbered, uses additional units and conducts intensive assault operations along the entire offensive line.

It is reported that the Russians have deployed the forces of the 20th Army as part of the 3rd and 144th Divisions, represented by the 236th Artillery Brigade and 11 regiments: 7 motorized rifle, 2 tank and 2 artillery.

In addition, mercenaries from irregular army units are involved, in particular, the presence of Storm V, Black Mamba, Fixics, and PKV Patriot is known. The BARS-14 unit arrived to maintain order.
