Russian troops expanded their positions in the city of Avdiyivka, causing street battles

On the northern outskirts of Avdiivka, the Russian military established their units, taking positions on one of the streets. According to estimates, they are located at a distance of approximately one and a half kilometers from the entrance to the city.

Two weeks ago, the enemy managed to infiltrate two streets on the southern outskirts of the city, which creates a critical situation. Currently, the 110th Mechanized Brigade, along with several supporting units, are actively fighting against the enemy forces, which are superior in numbers and are systematically receiving fresh reinforcements.

The people of Avdiiv are in urgent need of fresh reserves and rotation of units of the 110th brigade, which has shown heroism in maintaining control even after almost two years of continuous fighting in the city. In addition, insufficient supplies of ammunition create difficult conditions for the Ukrainian military, since the enemy has an advantage in means of destruction.

It is important to note the problems in the operational-tactical management system, where the interaction and effectiveness of the use of forces and means remain vulnerable. Disreputable reports at the general level and the desire to reassure themselves or to avoid unpleasant news are detrimental to the situation, as upper management wants to hear only positive information.

The enemy is actively hunting Ukrainian drone operators in the city, shelling any buildings and places where antennas are installed. The Russian aviation is carrying out bombings unhindered, making the actions of Ukrainian forces difficult. Despite significant losses, the enemy concentrates its reserves near Avdiivka faster than the Ukrainian command.

On Monday, information is received that the fund will purchase new equipment for Ukrainian drone operators of the 110th brigade in Avdiivka, responding to the destruction of their equipment due to shelling. The initiative provides for the creation of stocks of antennas and control stations to ensure responsiveness in case of losses.
