Russian troops are intensifying the following actions to the south of the strategically important village of Rozlyv in Donetsk region. This village is a key point on the way to Kurakhovo, and its capture could cut an important transport artery leading from the west to the city.
Judging by the map of the Ukrainian military publication Deep State, there are a little more than six kilometers from the front line in the Yasnaya Polyana area to Rozhlyv.
Even yesterday, this distance was more than eight kilometers according to the same map.
"The breakthrough in the direction of Rozhlyv continues, the battles for this settlement will take place very soon," confirms the Ukrainian fighter with the call sign "Molochna".
Also, the Russians, advancing from the south towards Kurakhovoy, advanced in the districts of Maksimivka and Trudovoy, the Telegram channel reports.
To the north of Kurakhovo DS confirms the advance of the Russian Federation in the direction of Voznesenka. The Ukrainian military writes that the village of Illinka is "almost lost".
Russian publics also claim control over Illinka - with a subsequent attack on the neighboring village of Berestki. They also claim to have captured Novodmytrivka and most of Novoselidivka.
Ukraine did not confirm this. At the same time, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Muchnyi writes that "the enemy is pushing our defenders in the Novovodmytrivka-Voznesenka area."
"We will try to hold on, otherwise the line of defense here can rapidly crumble, which will lead to the encirclement of Kurakhovoy," he adds.
