On the night of July 4, Russia carried out the largest air attack of the summer, releasing 550 air attacks in Ukraine, most of which are Shahd drones. The main blow came to Kyiv and the Kiev region.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces, a total of 539 percussion drones were launched, among which more than 330 were Shahd. Drones started from different regions of Russia: Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Lipetsk, Rostov regions and Krasnodar region.
In addition, the enemy applied:

1 Aerobalistic missile X-47M2 "Dagger" from the airspace of Lipetsk region,

6 Ballistic Missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 from Bryanschyna,

4 Winged Iskander-K missiles from Kursk and Voronezh regions.
According to preliminary data, the air defense of Ukraine destroyed 478 air purposes:

270 - shot by firearms,

208 - supplied by means of radio electronic struggle (EIT).
Among the neutralized are 268 Shahd drones, as well as 2 winged Iskander-K rockets.
However, 8 locations were recorded in 8 locations (in total - 9 rockets and 63 UAVs). The fragments of the whipped objects fell in 33 places.
The main direction of the attack is the capital of Ukraine. Aviation, air defense units, mobile fire groups, EWS units and unmanned systems operators worked in the sky.
According to official information as of 08:00, 23 people were injured in Kiev, among them a 10-year-old girl. The fourteen were hospitalized, others were assisted on the spot.
This attack confirms the ability of the Russian Federation to accumulate a large amount of ShahED for a one -time massive impact. Despite Ukraine's attempts to destroy the production capacity of drones in the Russian Federation, including blows to the dome plant in Izhevsk, the aggressor continues to modify and zoom production.
The Ukrainian defense forces, despite the high load on the air defense, were able to neutralize the majority of threats, but the number of casualties and injuries is reminiscent - the enemy did not abandon the purposeful strategy of terror.
