Russian troops continue to increase the number of personnel in the area of Chasovoy Yar and Toretsk in Donetsk region, preparing forces for a possible offensive. This was reported by Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokeswoman for the operational-tactical group "Luhansk", on the air of "Suspilny".
She noted that the enemy is actively recruiting personnel units, staffed by contractors and well equipped, which allows them to bring in reserves and maintain a high level of combat readiness.
However, Russian forces are currently facing difficulties in the area of Chasovoy Yar. For a full-scale offensive in this direction, they need to establish crossings across the channel, which is a difficult task due to constant shelling by Ukrainian forces. According to Bobovnikova, Ukrainian artillery is closely monitoring the situation, preventing any enemy attempts to force the canal.
A certain decrease in the activity of attacks was also noted in the direction of Toretsk. The enemy changed tactics, increasing the number of personnel, which led to significant losses. According to Bobovnikova, Russian troops lose about 50-70 soldiers killed and wounded every day.
