The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported on the intensification of assault operations by Russian troops on several front lines. According to him, the enemy has a significant advantage in air and artillery, which complicates the situation for Ukrainian troops.
In a telephone conversation with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Charles Brown, Syrsky emphasized that "the situation on the front line remains difficult." He noted that the Russian troops continue their offensive operations, actively using their advantage in the air, long-range firepower, as well as a significant number of artillery shells.
The generals also discussed the urgent needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to deter the Russian invaders and the next stages of military support. General Brown assured the full support of the US to the Ukrainian defense forces and the continuation of practical assistance in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
