Russia is actively preparing for a new wave of massive blows in Ukraine in the fall of 2025, increasing the production of missiles and drones. This is stated in the report of the American Institute for War Study (ISW), published the day before.
Analysts point out that the growth of defense production in the Russian Federation creates potential for larger strokes than those that the Ukrainian air defense system has withstood earlier. According to ISW estimates, by November 2025, Russian forces can reach up to 2000 shock drones in one night.
This can mean a completely new level of threat to critical infrastructure, power system, military facilities and civilian population of Ukraine.
The report emphasizes the critical importance of strengthening air defense systems. It is especially about American Patriot systems that have already proven effective against Russian ballistic missiles, in particular during the protection of Kiev and the Dnieper.
“ Large -scale attacks by Russia can be implemented precisely through the accumulation of drones and missiles. This requires an operational reaction from the event - first of all in the form of additional supplies of modern air defense tools , ”the ISW report reads.
This forecast also indicates that the Russian Federation plans to bet on the depletion of Ukrainian air defense systems before winter, which can repeat the scenario of energy terror of the sample 2022-2023.
