On October 7, another tragedy occurred in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, due to Russian aggression. A guided aerial bomb hit the sports field on the territory of the educational institution, injuring two civilians. According to Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, a 57-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man are among the injured.
Russian troops do not stop attacking the civilian infrastructure of the region. Shelling was also recorded in Bogoduhiv district. In the village of Myronivka, a fire broke out due to shelling, which covered 2 hectares of dry grass. As a result of the attack, 16 private houses and two-story apartment buildings were damaged in the village of Zolochiv.
The village of Perovske was hit by a mortar attack, which damaged the power grid and a private house.
Meanwhile, hostilities intensified in the Kharkiv direction. During the day, six combat clashes with Russian troops were recorded, in particular in the districts of Staritsa and Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out 25 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, trying to break through the defenses in the areas of Synkivka, Novoselivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova and Kruglyakivka.
Ukrainian defenders continue to repel enemy attacks, despite daily shelling and constant attempts to break through by Russian troops. Attacks on civilian infrastructure indicate that Russia continues to use terror tactics against the civilian population.
