For the first time in half a year, Russia has raised a reconnaissance aircraft A-50, which could be a sign of preparation for a new massive blow to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by a military expert, serviceman of the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Musienko in a comment to the YouTube channel RBC-Ukraine.
According to the expert, the current situation contributes to the activation of Russian attacks, as the United States has temporarily suspended the transfer of assistance to Ukraine and limited the exchange of intelligence. The Kremlin can try to use this pause to exhaust the Ukrainian air defense system.
Musienko noted that lifting in the air A-50 is not only a demonstration of force, but also the collection of intelligence data for more accurate air strikes. "The Russians are trying to study our opportunities for their blows to be more effective," he said.
According to the expert, the Russian Federation will use any available means for attacks on Ukraine, trying to strengthen their own positions in potential negotiations and demoralize Ukrainians.
Earlier, on the night of March 7, Russia made one of the largest blows in Ukraine, launching 67 rockets and 194 drones. The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 34 missiles and 100 drones, and 86 more drones were lost during the flight.
