According to analytical data, Russian military units are preparing to intensify assault operations in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region.
The report indicates that recently the enemy managed to advance south of Kreminna during the fighting along the Kupyansk-Svatov-Kreminna line. Geolocation data confirm the movement of Russian forces also to the eastern outskirts of Belogorivka.
According to Captain Ilya Yevlash, the spokesman of the Ukrainian military "Khortytsia", Russian forces have recently reduced their shelling in the Kupyansk direction, probably due to bad weather.
Enemy forces are also reported to have advanced near Bakhmut during positional battles. Fighting took place in various settlements, including Viymka, Rozdolivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Pivdenne, and Shumiv.
According to geolocation footage from February 9, Russian forces advanced to the southern sector of Avdiyivka, seizing Chernyshevsky, Sportivna and Soborna streets. There are also reports of an offensive in the north of the city.
Military observer Mashovets noted that the enemy is preparing to intensify assault operations near Novomykhailivka, even with limited resources.
At the same time, fighting continued in positions in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region, in particular in the areas of Robotynoy, Verbovoy, and Novopokrovka.
Russian and Ukrainian sources also reported on fighting on the left bank of the Kherson Region, in particular near Krynyk.
