Prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office Andriy Dyachenko owns expensive cars, lives in a luxurious house, and has significant savings. At the same time, according to official documents, all this property is registered in the name of his relatives - his sister and father-in-law.
After the resignation of Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin in October 2024, Ukraine has been without a head of this law enforcement agency for several months. Against the backdrop of the ineffectiveness of the prosecutor's office reform, investigations into local prosecutors are attracting increasing attention.
Previously, journalists covered scandals surrounding the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region prosecutor's office. Now the focus is on his subordinate Andriy Dyachenko, who heads the first department of procedural management in conducting pre-trial investigations by territorial police agencies.
The publication Antikor reports.
Although Dyachenko is not a public figure, his name first appeared in the media after a traffic accident in Dnipro. He was driving a luxury Lexus, which was not listed in his declaration. Eyewitnesses claimed that the prosecutor was drunk, but the regional prosecutor's office quickly came to his defense.
This incident drew attention to Dyachenko's lifestyle and allowed for a more detailed analysis of his fortune.
According to the declarations, Andriy Dyachenko worked in the prosecutor's office his entire professional life, starting from an ordinary position with a salary of 6,800 UAH per month. However, over the years, his family's financial situation has significantly improved.
Most of the luxury cars used by the prosecutor are registered to his sister, Maryna Dyachenko. She officially works as a hairdresser in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

List of cars that have been "used" by the Dyachenko family in recent years:
- Mercedes-Benz S350 – appeared in 2016, after which Andriy Dyachenko removed the mention of his own land plot from the declaration;
- Lexus ES 250 (2018) – purchased by his sister and immediately handed over to the prosecutor;
- BMW X5 (2009);
- KIA Sorento (2015);
- Lexus GX 460 (2014) – also decorated as a sister;
- Audi Q7 (2017) – purchased in 2023, in the name of Maryna Dyachenko;
- Lexus NX (2020) – registered to the prosecutor's father-in-law, although according to the declaration, it is used by Andriy Dyachenko's wife.
Interestingly, the last two cars were purchased after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, when the country was in a crisis and people were trying to save money.
The prosecutor's family is also in no hurry to register their housing. Since 2017, Andriy Dyachenko has lived in a house on Helsinska Street (formerly Dalekoshkhodna) in Dnipro. At the same time, this estate officially belongs to his sister.
According to market estimates, similar houses in this area cost about 10 million hryvnias.
Despite numerous assets "in use", the prosecutor's family also manages to accumulate savings.
According to the declaration, Dyachenko and his wife keep:
- $45,000 in cash (30,000 to the prosecutor, 15,000 to his wife);
- have 14 bank accounts, information about the status of which is not available in open sources.
It is worth noting that Dyachenko's wife has no official sources of income, except for maternity leave. The prosecutor himself lives solely on his salary.
