The Russian side has officially confirmed the first case of the use of American ATACMS missiles on its territory, which occurred overnight in the Bryansk region. This came after Ukrainian media reported an attack on an ammunition depot located on Russian territory.
The Russian Defense Ministry says five of these missiles were shot down and another was damaged. The debris fell into the "technical area of the military facility," causing a fire.
A video of what is allegedly the launch of these missiles has appeared in Ukrainian public forums.
As a reminder, the General Staff of Ukraine did not confirm the launch of ATACMS.
At the same time, today, after permission for "long-range combat" from the United States, Russia finally approved its new nuclear doctrine and stated that Ukraine's use of American ATACMS against the Russian Federation could result in a nuclear response.
