The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) appealed to the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court with a claim for recognition of unjustified assets of the family of the head of the Department of Combating Drugs of National Police Sergei Losich. The claim concerns real estate worth 2.5 million UAH, which was purchased in 2021, as well as schemes with a fictitious rent of housing, through which illegal funds were obtained.
According to the report, Losich's relative in 2021 purchased an apartment and two non -residential premises in the elite residential complex of Kiev. Prosecutors say that the analysis of income and expenses of the official and his family does not allow to explain the presence of such assets at the expense of legal profits.
In addition, Losich concluded a lease with his wife's sister, transferring 7000 UAH for a lease of the apartment on a monthly basis. However, as the SAP points out, his wife's sister soon returned these funds back to the official's card, which allowed him to receive compensation for allegedly rented housing in the amount of almost 150 thousand UAH.
In connection with these facts, the SAP prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the requirement to recognize the assets and income of the Losich family unjustified and recover them in favor of the state.
