360ua.news' sources in law enforcement agencies, the SBU has detained the commander of logistics of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Ukrainets Andriy Petrovych. He is suspected of organizing the embezzlement of state funds during the construction of protective structures at military airfields.
According to preliminary investigation data, the official could have been involved in a scheme of illegal use of budget funds allocated for the construction of shelters and other engineering facilities to protect aviation infrastructure.
The detention occurred during the transfer of funds in the amount of more than 300 thousand US dollars.

According to law enforcement officials, these funds were allegedly transferred to an official for assistance in the implementation of illegal activities.
Investigative actions are currently underway. Law enforcement agencies are identifying all possible participants in the scheme, as well as verifying the amount of damage caused to the state.
