The military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two persons who passed the enemy information about the combat aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The detentions took place in the Kiev and Mykolaiv regions.

In the capital region, operatives found a woman who, according to the SBU, transmitted data on the time, direction and number of departures of Ukrainian military aircraft. According to preliminary data, the woman equipped on the balcony of her apartment "Observation Point", from where she recorded the movement of aviation. In addition, she went to the area to collect information about the consequences of Russian shelling. For these tasks, she was promised a cash reward.

In the Nikolaev area, counterintelligence exposed a mobilized serviceman who recorded the departures of Ukrainian combat aviation. He hidden video recording from the territory of his part and handed the materials to the representatives of the Russian special services.

During the searches, mobile phones were removed from the detainees with evidence of involvement in the illegal activity.

Both defendants were informed of suspicion under Article 111 (2) (State betrayal in the conditions of martial law) and part 1 of Article 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information on the Armed Forces) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The suspects are in custody. The court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention without bail. They are threatened by 5 years in prison to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
