In the Dnieper, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed another agent of Russian special services. The woman was spying on the movement of Ukrainian military echelons, using a hidden camera built in the birdhouse.
This was reported by the SBU press service.
According to the investigation, a 46-year-old resident of the Dnieper installed a video trap near the railway track. Under the guise of a bird's house, she mounted a camera with additional power, which in real time transmitted an image of the movement of military trains.
This equipment allowed the occupiers to monitor the movement of equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces to the front, which could have catastrophic consequences for Ukrainian defense.
In addition to monitoring the echelons, the Russian agent also transferred the enemy to the coordinates of mobile fire defense groups. She went around the frontal areas, recorded the location of Ukrainian positions and sent information through encrypted messengers.
A traitor was a woman who was looking for "easy earnings" through pro-Russian Telegram channels. It was there that it was recruited by Russian curators. After completing the "tasks", she had to receive payment.
During the search, the spies seized the camera, phones, information carriers and SIM card with evidence of state betrayal.
The woman has already reported suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is a state betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law. She is threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
She is in custody now. The operation was performed under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of Dnipropetrovsk region.
