The son of the head of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko, Christian Shevchenko, has received a call-up to the country's youth national team. This information was announced on the UAF website today, March 6. He will represent Ukraine in the qualifying matches for Euro 2024 among players under 19. The Ukrainian team has been drawn into Group Seven, where it will play against the national teams of Switzerland, North Macedonia and Latvia. The mini-tournament will be held in North Macedonia, and all matches will be held in the city of Skopje from March 20 to 26.
The first match of the Ukrainian national team in the framework of the Euro 2024 qualifiers will be held on March 20 against North Macedonia. Kristian Shevchenko, known for his performances for the English Watford, will play in the Ukrainian youth national team as a striker.
