The third deputy chairman of the board of "Bank "Finance and Credit" JSC, who used billions in the interests of the former owner, ex-oligarch Konstantin Zhevago, was suspected of abuse.
This top manager initially held the position of deputy chairman of the board, and in 2015 became the chairman of the board of Bank "Finance and Credit" JSC. It is known that the former owner of the bank founded a criminal organization back in 2010, through which the bank's money was stolen, which had a negative impact on the Ukrainian economy. Withdrawal of funds and their legalization were carried out with the participation of, among others, at least three deputy heads of the bank's board.
In general, losses in the amount of more than 560 million hryvnias were discovered in the illegal activities of the members of the criminal organization. They illegally allocated more than 147 million hryvnias and 17 million euros from bank accounts and transferred them to the accounts of non-resident companies, withdrawing funds outside Ukraine.
Last year, in this criminal proceeding, six former deputy heads of the board of JSC "Bank "Finance and Credit" were detained, who were suspected under similar articles. They were remanded in custody, but bail has not yet been posted.
