In the project of the budget of Ukraine for 2025, the exchange rate of the dollar is set at the level of 45 hryvnias . Banker Serhii Fursa noted that the American currency may rise during the year, but it will not happen sharply.
"There is a possibility, but not so significant. It is possible that at the end of the year the exchange rate will be at the level of 44-45 hryvnias per dollar," Fursa said in a comment on Channel 24 .
Fursa also expressed confidence that the dollar will most likely remain below 45 hryvnias in 2025. He emphasized that the situation on the foreign exchange market will remain stable: "The exchange rate has not changed for almost six months, I don't understand where the panic can come from," the banker concluded.
According to the forecast, 100 dollars in Ukraine at the end of 2025 will cost between 4,400 and 4,500 hryvnias .
At the end of 2024, the dollar rate may also reach a new psychological mark. Economist Oleg Pendzyn believes that by the end of the year the dollar may rise in price, reaching 42.5 hryvnias per dollar. Thus, by the end of 2024, 100 dollars will probably cost 4,200-4,250 hryvnias .
