A new phase of mobilization has begun in Ukraine, which includes sending out summons through Ukrposhta . People's deputy Ihor Fries, a member of the "Servant of the People" political party, warned about potential problems that may arise for conscripts due to the incorrect execution of these summonses.
On the air of the "Novyny.Live" TV channel, Fries noted that if the postal service records that a person does not live at the specified address, this can lead to serious consequences. For example, enforcement proceedings may be opened, and accounts and real estate of individuals may be seized.
Fries also warned that the system of sending subpoenas through the mail could face enormous difficulties. Improperly executed or improperly served subpoenas can cause a significant collapse, creating liabilities to the state for individuals who were not even informed about it.
According to Ukrainian Military Pages, "Ukrposhta" received about 6,000 summonses for conscripts. So far, the distribution of the first 6,000 summons has begun without the participation of territorial procurement centers (TCC). Summonses generated by the Register of Conscripts and signed by electronic signatures of the heads of the TCC have a special QR code and are sent by registered mail.
Conscripts are given 14 days to appear before the TCC after receiving a summons. It is noted that the summons will be considered duly served, even if the addressee cannot receive it for any reason.
