Despite digitalization, a paper military ticket in Ukraine remains a critical document. It is based on the updating of accounting data, when staging or withdrawing from military accounting. And losing it means not only to create a serious bureaucratic problem, but also to raise the law.
The Ministry of Justice reminded that conscripts, reservists and conscripts are obliged to store the ticket properly. Its damage or loss is an administrative offense. Such a violation provides a fine of 510 to 850 UAH. If this happens again or during martial law, the amount of the fine can increase to 1700 UAH.
Despite the fact that a military ticket can exist today in electronic format, it is the paper document that is still mandatory. No procedure related to military accounting is carried out without it. Therefore, the loss of the ticket automatically blocks any interaction with the CCC.
The recovery procedure depends on the status of the person. If the document loses the military or conscript, he or she must contact the head of the territorial staffing center, apply and photo. When it comes to a serviceman, he must write a report to the commander of the unit, after which a service investigation is conducted. Only after its completion, the documents are transferred to produce a new ticket.
At best, the new document is made in five working days. But this is after all formalities, and only if there are no additional complications. That is why the Ministry of Justice calls to be careful: in the current conditions, any violation of military accounting-even formal-is considered strictly.
