In the folk tradition, June 1 is the day of summer meeting. People baked bread from new grain, harvested healing herbs, grazed cattle, and girls - wore wreaths of field flowers. It was considered happy to eat the first berries or treat them a baby.

  • swear or quarrel;

  • abuse alcohol;

  • to make a fence - according to popular beliefs, it can lead to quarrels in the family;
