Anatoliy Kozar, who was recently detained for corruption, was officially manifested by almost without wealth. In his declaration for 2024 - only 809 UAH of bank interest and 747 UAH Cashbek. At the same time, he declared 30 thousand cash. That's all.
However, a detailed analysis of the property status of the official's family testifies to a completely different picture. It turned out that all real estate was registered with his wife, Victoria Kozar.
The woman owns a cottage house in the village of Lensoki for 204.4 square meters, which she purchased in 2020 for UAH 250 thousand. Everything looks quite modest if it were not for four more land in the same village in 2017. The total area is more than 3 thousand square meters, and the declared cost is 250 thousand hryvnias.
Victoria Kozar also owns a 2008 Toyota RAV4 car, purchased for UAH 340 thousand in 2015. Kozar himself did not specify any car, although the police published a photo of the car he used.
Such an "invisibility" in the declaration looks strange in view of the charges that they make. According to the investigation, Kozar established a scheme of sale of oak wood of classes A, B and C enterprises that had no legal grounds for it.
In addition, he actually did not have an official income, which casts doubt on the legitimacy of the origin of property issued on his wife.
The family lives in the village of Kolchino, Mukachevo district in Transcarpathia. However, there are no sources for life that are appropriate to the value of real estate.
This case is another example of how government officials mask the wealth, formulating everything on relatives, while maintaining the image of a "poor" official. Such a fictitious modesty has long become a way of avoiding checks and responsibility in Ukraine.
After the Cossack detention for corruption, his declaration no longer looks as a report, but as a proof of deliberate concealment of the real state of affairs.
