After a loud performance at the Atlas 2025 festival, where Vadym Oliynyk and Volodymyr Dantes performed the hit "Girl Olya" together, talk again arose among fans about the possible revival of the "DiO.films" group and the translation of old songs into Ukrainian.
However, Vadym Oliynyk quickly cooled fans' expectations. The artist admitted that the performance with his former colleague was a pleasant memory of the past, but that the collaboration ends there for now.
" I don't think there's any point in translating the band's other songs, especially since we don't own the rights to them. Therefore, most likely, it will be limited to a performance at the Atlas Festival ," the singer explained.
He also reminded that the rights to old hits do not belong to the musicians, but to other owners, so even if you wanted to translate or re-record the compositions, it would be officially impossible to do so.
Thus, the performance at the festival became more of a nostalgic gift for the audience than the beginning of a new stage in the history of the former duo.
