Modest salary, luxurious purchases and cash stocks: as NABU detective Lyme Obeshomok multiplied their wealth during the war

The detective of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Lyme Obermok during a full -scale war significantly improved its financial status. Despite the official salary not exceeding half a million hryvnias a year, she was able to buy elite real estate in Kiev and Lviv, a cottage near Kharkiv, as well as a new Porsche Cayenne.

Real estate, car and cash assets

According to the journalistic investigation, over the last three years Lyme Obermok and her family have made the following expensive purchases:

  • Porsche Cayenne (2022) - UAH 4.4 million
  • Apartment in Kiev (2022, 80 m²) - over 4 million UAH
  • Apartment in Lviv (2023, 156 m²) - almost UAH 4.2 million
  • The cottage near Kharkiv - almost 2 million UAH
  • The total cost is over UAH 14.5 million

In addition to real estate and car, the family has significant cash assets:

  • Lyme Overhamok keeps $ 20,000 in cash
  • Her business man has declared $ 300,000 in cash and in bank accounts

Where is the money?

According to official declarations, NABU detective receives about 40 thousand hryvnias a month , and its total income in three years does not exceed UAH 1.5 million .

The main source of family income is probably her business man. In 2023 he declared a profit of UAH 7 million . In total, in three years, his income amounted to about UAH 21 million .

Nevertheless, purchases - UAH 14.5 million - significantly reduce the official financial reserves of the family, which raises the issue of the origin of funds.

Will there be a check?

The financial behavior of representatives of anti -corruption bodies is traditionally under the close attention of society. The logical question arises: do the competent authorities plan to check the sources of financing the luxurious lifestyle of the NABU detective?

There is no information about the official investigation at this point. However, the public request for transparency of officials, especially during the war, is only growing.
