Frying kebabs in the forest is forbidden: where allowed and what fine

With the onset of warm weather, Ukrainians go to nature massively. Such a vacation is often accompanied by traditional barbecues. However, it is not allowed everywhere - for a violation you can get a significant fine.

According to the current Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses, breeding of fire or frying meat in forbidden places is an administrative offense.

Where you can't fry kebabs:

  • Near the reservoirs - at a distance closer than 30 meters

  • In forests and forest strips, especially in a fire hazardous period

  • Within the settlements - squares, parks, yards

  • In nature reserves

Particular attention should be paid to areas that may have been replaced or where the demining has not yet been completed. Visiting such areas poses a real life threat.

How much will you have to pay:

  • For a fire in the forest - from 1 530 to 3 400 UAH

  • For the outstanding campfire - from 1 530 to 4 590 UAH

  • For frying barbecue within the city or village - from 340 to 1 360 UAH

In order to avoid problems with the law, Ukrainians are advised to use officially allowed recreation areas. In each region, the list of safe and authorized locations is established by local authorities and rescue services.

Remember: one underwhelming carbon can cause a large -scale fire. In the face of war and unstable access to natural resources, it is especially dangerous.
