Ukrainian singer Melovin, who openly declared his incurable illness, reported from the stage that he is currently undergoing military service. The artist joined the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
He announced this during a joint speech with the ensemble, contacting the audience just at the concert. According to melovin, he was invited to a creative unit, and he is now officially a serviceman.
“I was invited to this ensemble, so since then I have been a border guard. And since then I have been playing with this ensemble. I carry my service, but musical, together with such incredible musicians of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine , ”the singer said.
In his Instagram, he added that it is not part of a new show or a project, but a conscious decision. “It's not a loud collaboration. This is a solution. Real, ”Melvin wrote.
It should be noted that participation in such ensembles is a complete military service in the status of a contractor or mobilized. The artists who are part of the team, they carry form, have a military rank, serve in part, performing artistic functions - perform at official and charity events, in front of the military in garrisons and hospitals.
As of today, Melovin continues to engage in creativity, already in the status of a serviceman of the SSSU.
