Singer MELOVIN posted a poster on his Instagram titled “the first bisexual hero of the show,” after which the STB TV channel accused the artist of violating copyright on the logo and design. In response, MELOVIN stated that he acted intentionally — to test society’s readiness for expanding boundaries in a TV show.
On November 5, 2025, singer MELOVIN published a poster on his Instagram, in which he appears as "the first bisexual hero of the show "The Bachelor."" The publication instantly attracted the attention of users and provoked a reaction from the TV channel itself: representatives of STB contacted the artist with claims regarding the use of the logo and visual design of the project, calling it a violation of copyright.
In response, MELOVIN released a statement admitting that he had deliberately used the show's design and that the poster was a "laboratory" experiment: the artist said he wanted to test how society would react to the idea of including characters with non-standard sexual orientation in mass media. He also noted that the post "will disappear at 00:00," and emphasized that the goal had been achieved.
“ Today at 00:00 the post will disappear. I am violating the rights to use the logo of the TV channel and the project and did it deliberately. The goal is achieved, I wanted to see if society is ready for a project where the boundaries are expanded. As it turned out – YES. Glad to be a litmus test. Free of charge. Forever yours, M ,” the singer wrote.
Some of the audience responded positively to the campaign, noting the artist's courage and the discussion about inclusivity on television, while others criticized MELOVIN for using someone else's design. A number of users also questioned the channel's methods of communicating with public figures - some of the audience expressed their comments about the tone and actions of the STB SMM team.
