The Ukrainian musician and frontman of the band "Boombox" Andriy Khlyvnyuk, who since the beginning of a full -scale invasion joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, again found himself in the center of a wave of criticism. This time, it was the assumption that the artist allegedly used a military pickup for his own purposes - he goes on it in Kiev.
The accusations appeared on the social network Threads, where one of the users hinted at the "strange service" if Khlyvnyuk is regularly seen not on the front, but at concerts or in the capital at the wheel of a alleged army car.
In the comments, users began to refute this information. It turned out that the car belongs to the producer of the band, who purchased it at its own expense. Therefore, there is nothing to do with the military accounting of the car. But, as is often the case, Hate on the Internet is spreading faster than refuting.
Andriy Khlyvnyuk himself did not directly respond to the accusation. However, on the Instagram-page he published a series of critical replicas that he most often hears in his side, and ended it with a laconic quotation of Taras Shevchenko: "Not so much enemies as good people .
Khlyvniuk has repeatedly explained that, despite his service in the Armed Forces, he continues musical activity, because concerts are also a form of support and motivation for society. He spoke to the military, as well as abroad - as part of charity tours to raise funds to help the army.
At a time when part of society continues to demand "uniform standards" of the service, Khlyvniuk is one of those artists who, without unnecessary pathos, combines art, service and civic position. But this is not enough to avoid daily suspicions.
