According to the investigation published on the website bihus.info, serious suspicions have emerged regarding the connections between illegal gas stations and the families of high-ranking officials, in particular the sisters of the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi.
For the sister of the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, a share in the company "Yugnefteproduct" LLC, which is engaged in wholesale fuel trade, was registered. During 2022-2023, the firm traded with at least two persons involved in criminal proceedings, which were investigated by the police under the leadership of Vyhivskyi.
At the beginning of 2023 GSU National Police took up the case of a whole criminal group, which, according to the investigation, organized illegal import and trade in fuel.
So, according to the version of the investigation, in the ports of Izmail (Odesa region), fuel bypassed customs - and therefore bypassed control and taxes - was simply poured into gasoline trucks, which then transported it around the country and sold the fuel for cash, that is, bypassing control and taxes.
The investigation attributed one of the key roles in this story to "Continental Trade" LLC and its related TD "Ukrainian Terminal". Allegedly, they themselves were involved in the shadow trade in fuel, and helped others evade taxes.
At the same time that year, when Vyhivskyi's investigators investigated the activities of "Continental", this company became one of the largest suppliers of "Yugnefteprodukt", that is, Vyhivskyi's sister.
In addition to being a wholesale trader, Vyhivskyi's sister is developing a retail business. In 2020, she and her partners bought two hectares of land at the entrance to Mykolaiv, on which they opened a gas station under the KIV OIL brand.
When journalists visited this gas station at the end of April, they sold fuel there without a license, without checks and with payment in cash or with the card of a man who sells coffee in a nearby coffee shop.
