The US stopped exchange of intelligence with Ukraine, Ukrainian source reported for Sky News. Previously, it was only a “selective” termination of data exchange, including information that can be used for attacks in Russia. However, the source recently stated that the entire flow of intelligence between the countries was stopped.
In his turn, US national security advisor Michael Voltz confirmed that the US "made a step back" in relations with Ukraine, and CIA Director John Retcliffe noted that the suspension of assistance was a "pause". He said that US intelligence and military assistance could be restored when US President Donald Trump see that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is seriously tuned to peace and ready for negotiations.
Retcliff also stated that the pause in the exchange of intelligence "Mine", and the United States will again work side by side with Ukraine, as their cooperation is important for resisting Russian aggression. However, this requires that the Ukrainian side continues to demonstrate the seriousness of their intentions to peace.
This decision of the United States is concerned, especially among military experts who note that even with the support of Europe, Ukraine will be difficult to compensate for the shortage of weapons. Earlier, The New York Times noted that although Europe promises help, it would be very difficult to fill the gap in weapons supply.
People's Deputy Roman Kostenko also expressed his opinion on this situation, emphasizing that there is currently a stock of resources in Ukraine for several months, but without the support of the United States the situation can be complicated.
