During the meeting, Stefanchuk emphasized that the adoption of the US aid package was of extremely significant historical significance for our country and for the defense of Ukraine from Russian aggression, for the protection of our people.
The main issue discussed was the security situation in Ukraine. (…) He called for facilitating permission for Ukraine to strike Russian military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation with allied weapons.
According to him, after the latest Russian attack and the shelling of a children's hospital in the capital, Putin demonstrated to the world that there are no red lines for him.
In addition, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada thanked Nancy Pelosi for her personal leadership in supporting Ukraine and the United States for its unprecedented assistance to Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion.
