In the capital of Ukraine, the deterioration of air quality was recorded due to the increased dust concentration. According to the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), the situation is caused by low -air weather, which does not contribute to the dispersion of polluting particles in the air.
According to the Department of Environmental Protection and Adaptation to KSCA Climate Change, the capital has an increase in the concentration of suspended substances (dust) due to low -air weather,
Experts say that increased amount of dust can adversely affect the health of people, especially those who have respiratory diseases. In this regard, residents of Kiev are recommended:
- close the windows;
- restrict stay on the street;
- drink a lot of water;
- if there is an air purifier, turn it on to the maximum.
