The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv continued the removal of Alexander Markushin from the post of mayor of Irpen for another two months. Markushin himself reported this on Facebook, calling a decision "another selling decision" and part of a large -scale scheme of raider seizure of power in the city.
According to Markushin, the situation around it is the result of the actions of the former mayor of Irpen Vladimir Karplyuk. He argues that pressure on the judicial system and manipulation with the State Register is under control.
The mayor noted that there was already an attempt to register the secretary of the Council Angela Makeyeva as Acting mayor. Following the complaint of the Marcushin team, the Ministry of Justice canceled this registration.
“My lawyers have appealed to a new court order and challenge the registrar. Today's decision on my removal continues for another two months the Deriban of the Irpin community, ”Markushin said.
He added that the court order is used as a formal basis for further attempts to "legalize the raiding" through sessions of the city council.
Currently, the mayor team plans to fight in the courts, as well as to appeal all actions related to the "illegal" change of Irpen's leadership.
