The court denied Dubinsky a change of preventive measure and the right to appeal

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv supported the decision to leave a preventive measure in the form of detention for People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, depriving him of the right to appeal this decision. The meeting was held on Wednesday, December 27.

According to the court's verdict, Dubinsky will remain in the SIZO, while the court's decision cannot be appealed.

The people's deputy's lawyers asked to replace the preventive measure with house arrest due to the deterioration of his health. Previously, Dubinsky claimed that he was beaten in the Kyiv SIZO, but this fact was not confirmed by the police.

Despite the fact that the lawyer presented the results of Dubinsky's medical examination, including broken ribs and a bruised chest, the court decided to keep him in custody.

The case against Dubinsky is related to suspicion of official forgery and organization of a scheme to take his wife's relative abroad. The People's Deputy was also charged with treason and possible membership in a criminal organization formed by the Russian Central Intelligence Agency.
