On Wednesday, May 28, the weather in Ukraine will remain unstable - most areas will cover atmospheric fronts with rains of varying intensity. According to the Ukrhydromet Center, a cyclone system was formed in the reduced pressure field, which will lead to a rainy and windy situation.
Only the eastern regions will remain without precipitation - at night and Sumy region, and in the afternoon, also Mykolaiv and Kherson. The rest of the territory will be influenced by precipitation.
Significant rains are forecast in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr region, moderate - in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia regions and in the Carpathian region. On the Left Bank and in the Carpathians, gusts of wind up to 20 m/s are possible. On average, the wind will reach 7-12 m/s, in the west-northwest, in other regions-southeast.
The air temperature will fluctuate significantly. In the western regions, it is expected to be cool - 7-12 ° C, 13-18 ° C. The rest of the territory will be 13-18 ° C at night and 18–23 ° C. In the eastern regions, they are forecast to 24–27 ° C.
In Kiev and the region forecasters promise cloudiness, rain and moderate warming. In the capital at night - 13-15 ° C, in the afternoon - up to 20 ° C, in the region - up to 23 ° C.
In addition to the weather conditions, the Ukrhydromet Center warns of possible hydrological complications. Due to the expected showers on Wednesday-Fourter, the rise of water levels on the rivers of the Subbasains of Prut and Siret by 50-150 cm. In the Vyzhnytsia district of Chernivtsi region, partial flooding of a highway of local importance is possible.
