In recent days, the situation in Toretsk has significantly worsened for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to information coming from the front, the Russian troops intensified their offensive actions, in particular, in the eastern quarters of the city.
And today, the spokesman of the "Lyut" assault brigade, Artem Jepko, said that the Russian troops have already reached the "Centralna" mine. It is located in the center of Toretsk.
Judging by the map of the Ukrainian Telegram channel Deep State, the Russian troops really got there.
At the same time, Z-publics claim that the mine management is already under the control of the Russian Federation. And that the Ukrainian troops, under the threat of being cut off from the main forces, withdrew the troops from the Zabalka neighborhood in the southern part of the city.
The "DNR" announced today that the Russian Federation controls all high-rise buildings in Toretsk, and the ZSU has retained the northern and western outskirts with tericonos. Ukraine did not confirm all this.
The significance of the battles for Toretsk is the desire of the Russians to move the front lines away from Horlivka, as well as to create conditions for an offensive from the southeast to Kostyantynivka. The Russian Federation also makes its way to this city from the northeast - from the side of the Chasy Yaru.
