According to our sources, the main media asset of the detained ex-top tax official Yevgeny Bambizov, who is suspected of organizing a conversion center worth 1.5 billion hryvnias, was taken away - the TG channel Don Quixote.
Thus, according to our sources in the Tax Service, from now on, the TG channel Don Quixote, which previously published compromising information about the Tax Service leadership, will publish exclusively positive materials about top taxpayers and leak compromising information about all those “unpleasant” to the service leadership.
To achieve the set goals, the Tax Service even allocated a special budget to support the Don Quixote channel's TG "squeezed" from Yevhen Bambizov and appointed a person in charge of the department's press service.
As a reminder, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for former tax official Yevhen Bambizov. He will be under arrest until November 4 with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 119 million hryvnias.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Bambizov and his accomplices were notified of suspicion of intentional tax evasion and legalization of proceeds of crime (Part 3 of Article 212 and Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
